Anodising Perth
Anodising in Perth,
Western Australia
We anodise aluminium parts in-house, producing a durable, corrosion-resistant oxide layer that can be left clear or dyed in a wide range of colours, all under the same roof as your machined parts.
Why Anodise?
Anodising grows an oxide layer directly into the aluminium surface rather than coating over it, so it won’t flake, peel or delaminate like paint or powdercoating. The result is a part that’s harder on the surface, more resistant to corrosion and properly sealed against the environment. For parts that also need to look the part, dyed anodising gives a clean, consistent, metallic-quality colour that holds up in the field.
It’s a common finishing step for CNC-machined aluminium components in electronics enclosures, industrial equipment, consumer products and anything that needs to go out the door looking finished.

Note: Colour Consistency
Colour consistency in anodising is influenced by several factors that are inherent to the process. Alloy composition and grade: different aluminium alloys absorb dye at different rates, meaning a 6061 and a 7075 part processed in the same batch may emerge with slightly different shades. Surface preparation also plays a significant role: Machining marks, grain direction, and the degree of pre-treatment all affect how the oxide layer forms and how evenly it takes up colour. Even minor differences in part geometry (recesses, blind holes and thin sections) can cause localised variation in oxide thickness, which in turn affects the final tone.
Batch-to-batch variation is also a reality: dye concentration, bath temperature, and anodising time are carefully controlled, but small shifts across separate runs can produce subtle differences. We take care at every stage to achieve the most consistent results possible, but by nature of the process, we cannot guarantee that colours will be a perfect match, particularly across different alloys, surface finishes, or production runs.
